So you can enjoy the night and take in the atmosphere, here are a few things you should familiarise
yourself with

Event Information

Date: Saturday 7th March 2026
Gates Open: 11am
VIP Area Opens: 2pm
Main Event Starts: 4pm
Rodeo Finish: Approx 10:30pm

In the event of inclement weather, please check the Queanbeyan Rodeo website and social media
channels for Event updates.

Before you arrive

• • Download your tickets, make sure you have your phone’s brightness turned up and the dark
    mode turned off before you arrive at the gates for faster entry.

• • Bag Inspections – To ensure the safety of everyone all bags will be checked at the gate, so
    please arrive early to avoid delays. Please remove jackets, blankets and other bulky items
    from your bag prior to entry.
  • No glass permitted on the showground

Competitors

• • Competitors dedicated parking area   

• • Free entry to all competitors who have registered to compete
  • Companian pass for Junior Competitors Only. 1 companion pass available for each competitor
  • Non-competitors/companion please purchase your tickets online prior to the event – to ensure entry
  • All competitors must proceed to the competitors gate entry to collect to your back patch.
  • Winners on the day are to present to the secretaries office to collect your prize and ribbon (please note, winners only, not all place getters).
    
    

Access to the Event at the Queanbeyan Showground is limited to two entry points:

Glebe Street entry for vehicles (until the parking area is full)

Glebe Street entry – Foot traffic

Lowe Street entry – Foot traffic only

Cooma Street – Vehicle Exit – Left Turn Only

At the conclusion of the event ALL entryways change to Exits
